Regular skin checks save lives. 

Skin checks are an important part of regular check ups in Queensland, and Dr Thomas Perkins offers bulk billed skin checks from his practice in West End. 

It usually takes about 20 minutes, and involves a taking a personal medical history including previous sun exposure, family history of any skin cancers. 

This is followed by a full body skin examination, under good lighting, with general inspection and then with Dermatoscope, with the aim of identifying each and every skin lesion and removing these. 

Suspicious skin lesions are identified and removed, either in the clinic or by referral to Dermatology or Plastic Surgeon.
